FAQ
FAQ
What is this website about?
Grace Ring is an on-line social network connecting reformed believers in Christ.
How does it work?
Like other social networks such as Facebook and Myspace, people can sign up and find friends or make new friends through the website.
Is this site for me?
If you are generally in agreement with one of the historic reformed confessions, you will probably find common ground with this site. Such confessions include the Wesminster Confession of Faith, the Three Forms of Unity (Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort) and the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith as well as the Five Solas. That is not to say you are required to agree with everything within these confessions as they are still written by fallible humans, but it gives some sense of who would find this website most appealing. Ultimately, the most important confession is the Bible itself, which we hope you trust implicitly.
Who runs this place?
Grace Ring is independently operated and does not have any denominational or church affiliation.
How do you stay in business?
This site is essentially non-commercial and is intended to be free to use and with minimal advertising. The only advertising displayed on the site is from the software vendor and is required in order to use the software. GraceRing doesn't really have control over it but if the advertising is inappropriate, let us know and we will try to address it.
How do I add youtube video?
In your edit profile page, you will see a field called Youtube. Here you need to add the youtube url which you can find at the top of your brower. It should look something like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_A5A8XBRVbw. Copy the whole thing to the Youtube field and add a description (optional). If you have problems with this feature, feel free to contact us.
How do I show a map of my hometown?
